Build useful skills. Show what you learned.

Choose a coding path in Python, Flask or Django, data science and ML, or TensorFlow. A separate no-code Excel and Power BI path helps engineering learners analyse and explain business data. Each workshop ends with a practical output.

Choose the right starting point

Five focused course paths.

Choose a no-code or coding starting point. These are separate options, not a promise to cover every topic in one short workshop. We agree the level and depth after checking learners' starting skills and available hours.

No-code · Beginner-friendly

Business analytics with Excel & Power BI

Frame a business question, clean a small dataset in Excel, build a readable Power BI view and explain a recommendation without writing Python.

  • Lab: compare sales or operations performance and explain the drivers
  • Output: a simple dashboard and a short decision note
  • Starting point: spreadsheet familiarity; no coding required
01 · Beginner-friendly

Python programming

Build confidence with variables, control flow, functions, collections, files, exceptions and testing through small problems.

  • Lab: clean a CSV and answer a question with code
  • Output: a documented Python script and test cases
  • Starting point: no prior Python required
02 · After Python basics

Web apps with Flask or Django

Learn HTTP, routes, forms, data storage and safe input handling by building one working application. Flask suits a smaller app or API; Django suits a more structured, database-backed course.

  • Lab: build and test an enquiry or project tracker
  • Output: a working app, README and demo
  • Starting point: Python functions and basic HTML
03 · After Python basics

Data science & machine learning

Use Python, pandas and visualisation to explore data, then train and evaluate an introductory model without hiding its limitations.

  • Lab: compare a baseline and a simple model
  • Output: notebook or script with metrics and explanation
  • Starting point: Python basics and simple statistics
04 · After introductory ML

Deep learning with TensorFlow

Build a small neural network with TensorFlow and Keras, interpret training and validation results, and discuss overfitting and model limitations.

  • Lab: train and evaluate an image classifier on a public teaching dataset
  • Output: reproducible notebook, learning curves and a short model review
  • Starting point: Python, basic statistics and introductory ML

A college can choose the no-code analytics route, one coding path, or a sequence across modules. TensorFlow deep learning is a separate follow-on course; production deployment and research-level mastery need additional time and scope.

Example for mixed-level BTech cohorts

A five-day Python foundation.

This sample 30-hour format builds a common base before learners choose a later web or ML specialisation. It is adaptable, not a fixed syllabus or confirmed booking.

01

Python essentials

Run programs, trace variables and practise conditionals and loops.

6 hours
02

Functions and data structures

Break problems into functions; use lists, dictionaries and tests.

6 hours
03

Files and practical data

Read CSV files, validate values and summarise results.

6 hours
04

Build a small project

Plan inputs, implement a program, handle errors and review code.

6 hours
05

Test, present and choose a next path

Improve the project, explain decisions and preview web or data applications.

6 hours

Breaks are arranged with the institution. The 30 teaching hours above do not include full Flask, Django, ML or TensorFlow deep learning training.

How learners stay involved

Practice, feedback and a visible result.

Follow-along labs

Learners run each example, change an input and explain what changed before moving on.

Check understanding

Short questions and code reviews reveal gaps early; mistakes become a prompt to retry with feedback.

Demonstrate a project

Each learner or team shows the working output, decisions made and one limitation or improvement.

Delivery and scope

Set up the cohort to succeed.

Live virtual delivery is available across time zones. On-site delivery, including international visits, depends on agreed travel and applicable permissions. Learners need a laptop and a working Python environment; web, ML and TensorFlow paths may need additional packages, internet access and suitable compute resources. A short readiness check helps set the correct level. Cohort size, schedule, assessment, materials, travel and fee are agreed in a written proposal.

I have delivered Python, Django, Flask, data analytics and AI-related training for engineering and professional cohorts. The Career Profile provides dated examples. Course descriptions here are options for discussion, not endorsements or measured learner outcomes.
